- I need to get better about blogging. Ideally, I'd like to blog four days a week. It seems like I'm doing good if I blog twice a week.
- I'm feeling super energetic today! Don't you love days where you feel like a ball of energy?
- This is the first St. Patty's Day in a few years that has found me remembering to wear green.
- I started tweeting today. A lot. As in for myself and for my company.
- This weekend is the Heart Ball. I'm on the logistics committee and chair of the volunteers. There's a lot of work that's already gone into it, and more that will happen this weekend, but it will be so worth it. I love supporting causes in some way.
- Speaking of the Heart Ball, I'm not sure what I'm going to wear yet. There's not a theme this year, and they're sticking with red, black, and white. I have tons of LBDs, but I also have a red dress I've only worn once. Right now, I'm leaning towards it.
- I got to have dinner with one of my best friends last night! It was fun to catch up!
- I'm enjoying reading The Pioneer Woman's Black Heels to Tractor Wheels as part of the Book Beginnings and Bookends blogger book club.

Thursday's Thoughts... A Day Late
I'm a day late posting what's becoming my regular "Thursday Thoughts," but I wanted to share them anyway.
- This has been the busiest week! I guess it's a good thing I like being busy because the next few weeks look like they're trying to beat this week!
- I had lunch with my sweet grandparents today! They are so precious and mean the world to me!
- At Junior League last night, we passed around shamrocks with our names on them and we wrote what we appreciate about each girl on her shamrock. It was nice. I think no matter how much you enjoy giving and doing, it's always nice to get a little encouragement.
- PC and I are going on a date tonight! We're going to see Just Go With It (I love Jennifer Aniston!).
- I am in the mood for some Spring cleaning. I was totally ready to clean out my closet this weekend and add some "in between" Winter and Spring clothes in it, but with the temperature in the 30s this morning, I've decided I might just need to hold on to my sweaters and coats a bit longer.
- Sometime during football season I purchased some garnet and black pasta from The Gourmet Shop. I thought it would be great to cook while watching an away game. That hasn't happened yet and I guess it won't because as I was thinking about cooking it one night earlier this week, I noticed that the color was from some type of fish ink and well, I can't eat fish. Or their ink.
- I desperately want to finish Decision Points. Every time I've picked it up lately, I've fallen asleep (I promise it's not the book's fault!), and I'm not very good when it comes to reading more than one book at a time.
- I got my hair cut this week. I kept contemplating about cutting it shorter, not short, but shorter than it is. The day before, I had a really good hair day (in my opinion) and decided to keep it long, but add some layers. I like it.
- Do you ever feel like you pray and read your Bible, but you just don't exactly "hear" God? I'm going through that state right now. I know He's here with me and beside me, but sometimes I wish it was like I could say, "Hey God. Have a seat and let me see You." I know it's not me trying not to be close to Him and certainly not Him distancing Himself from me, but I think it's an opportunity to continue to have faith and trust Him completely even though I don't "feel" Him as much as I'd like to. Does that make sense? It makes sense in my head, but I don't know if it does on paper! Sorry!
- Speaking of sorry, I have to stop saying that! I went through a period of time a few years ago when I would constantly say "sorry" because I felt like I was doing something "wrong" when I was expressing myself or I felt bad if someone didn't or possibly didn't want to do something I wanted to do. I catch myself doing this every now and then (and it's usually when I have a lot going on and get tired) and I need to break myself of it.

Thursday's Thoughts
This has been a busy week! So busy that I haven't had a chance to blog!
- I like four-day work weeks. We were off for President's Day Monday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. PC and I were in Charleston and played putt putt with his nephew on our gorgeous day off.
- Last night I had my first VBS meeting of the year. I'm the VBS director at my church and just generally love that week every summer. I think we have a lot of great, new ideas and I'm excited to see how they go!
- I need to find a formal dress - fast! I am serving on my area's Heart Ball Committee and the event is three weeks from Saturday. I am on the logistics committee and my primary responsibility is working with the volunteers. I decided to volunteer myself instead of attending the event, but I still get to dress up!
- I am really excited about bamboopink. If you haven't yet heard of it, be sure to read this post. Also, I'd love to have you on my team! I think it's an incredible opportunity!
- My little sister and I have a "date" tonight. I'm excited!
- I have a lot (or will after tonight) of DVR'd shows to catch up on from this week. I haven't been home hardly any!
- I'm so proud of myself with sticking to my workout plan. I've been doing weight training twice a week with cardio almost everyday.
- I'm getting my hair cut next week. It's long - below my shoulders long. I like the length, but I don't like dealing with it everyday. I may cut a few inches off. Decisions!
- This beautiful weather we've been having has me ready for Spring!
- I need your help! How can I have any comments that are left on posts e-mailed to me so that I can reply?

Thursday's Thoughts
- Have I mentioned before that I'm loving this 60 and 70 degree weather? I am!
- This week has felt so long to me. This is about the third day I've thought it was Thursday.
- I had a really good run outside last night. 5 miles in 46 minutes. I was proud of myself!
- This week marks three years at my job. More on that later.
- I'm looking forward to having Monday off for President's Day.
- I'm excited for February 28th - Bethenny Ever After. I love the Real Housewives of New York and really enjoyed Bethenny Getting Married? last season.
I asked my granddad who is a retired minister to help me in my goal of memorizing three Bible verses a month by giving me a "guide" of verses that are good to know (I know they all are, but you know what I mean.) Last night, I stopped by my grandparents' house and he gave me my February verses. He said he added some extra. There are 19. 19.- The Spring Lilly Pulitzer catalog arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I fell in love with the Tiernan Dress Printed.
- Thanks for your prayers for PC! He's finished two days. The first night was not so great, but he said when I talked to him this morning that he was fine all night! Please keep praying!
- I need to finish reading Decision Points and move ahead on my reading list!

Thursday's Thoughts (a day late)
- It snowed! Again! We're just not used to this much snow in SC! When I woke up Monday, there wasn't much on the ground at my house, so I got up and ready for work. My commute is normally 25-30 minutes, but about 15 miles from my house, the ground was covered with snow! I drove ahead in thinking I'd work a few hours and then go home as to not get stuck at work, but the closer I got, the more snow and ice covered the ground. I got to my office and called my boss to let him know I was working from home. We all ended up working from home on Tuesday, too.
- This week has been busy. I think that's mainly attributed to the short work week and the fact that I have several events coming up in the next week and had to wrap up our annual report. I have a tendency to work fast, so I like the busyness of weeks like this.
- Today marks two weeks since my last soft drink (or soda) (or pop) (or whatever else you call it).
- I noticed when I was running on the treadmill at the gym earlier that I count down (like 60-59-58-57 and so on) during my last few minutes if I'm doing a fast(-er than normal) run. Weird.
- I'm really enjoying reading my Daily Bible. I like that the daily readings are broken down in smaller portions and include some commentary before. I'm learning. I don't know how anyone makes it without God.
- My PC is the nicest, kindest, and sweetest man I know. :)
- Don't ever rent a home to anyone. I own a home that's only two years old. I lived there for about six months, and due to circumstances, I moved back and rented it to someone that seemed like they would take care of it. Fast forward a year and a half and it looks like animals were living in it like it was a jungle. I honestly don't know how some of the holes got in the walls. Or what's stained the carpet so badly in one of the bedrooms that it has to be replaced. I also can't figure out what the orange substance is on the ceilings. Or why I have to replace the doors for the three bedrooms and the laundry room. I mean, I know why, but how did they get holes through them? I don't want to put a lot into it since it's going on the market after it's repaired and I know I'll lose money thanks to our lovely economy, but I want it to look good.
- Verizon has the iPhone! And I'm going to hold out. I had an iPhone, but AT&T doesn't have the best service (in my opinion), so I switched back to Verizon and have a Droid. I love it, but I do think that I'll succumb to iPhone fever one day.
- My sister is going to be 16 soon! I need to start shopping!
- I hope to finish Decision Points in the next few days so I can start reading Steve Martin's new book. I've really enjoyed reading lately.
- It feels so good to be working out again. I feel so much better and I feel like I look better when I work out regularly.
- Have a great weekend!
